Who are we?
Mystic Angus was founded in 2019 by Tom Wilkinson and his siblings James, Lucy, Edward and Archie, based at Goorambat in North East Victoria. The stud sits within a broader commercial Angus and Cross bred operation, which means our bulls are bred and selected in a real paddock environment not just on paper.
From the start the focus has been straightforward: breed bulls that work. That means growth, calving ease, docility, and structural soundness traits that matter whether you're running a commercial cow herd or building a seedstock program. We're not trying to be all things to all people, just breed a consistent line of bulls that do their job and leave your herd better than they found it.
All bulls are evaluated through the TransTasman Angus Cattle Evaluation (TACE) and we invest heavily in sire selection, drawing on proven Australian, North American and Kiwi genetics to keep moving forward. The stud is young but the results are starting to speak for themselves in the paddock and in the show ring.
