A Successful Day in Benalla

Ed had a great day at the Benalla Show back in October, showing Barr Creek Violet Crumble V13 by Mystic Pathway T81 and taking home Grand Champion heifer. Always good to see the younger ones getting involved. Well done Ed.

Violet Crumble is by our own Mystic Pathway T81, a 2022-drop son of Dunoon Pathway P1379 out of Premier Leah P142. Pathway is proving himself a sound sire with excellent structural credentials — his progeny rank in the top 1-2% of the breed for foot angle and leg angle, and top 4% for docility. He also brings genuine growth, sitting in the top 15% for both 400 and 600 day weight, with a $A index of $216 and $A-L of $357. Violet Crumble is a good example of what he's producing — a well-structured, good-doing heifer that clearly catches the judge's eye.
